Salary & Benefits:

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

Contract: Full time

Work Schedule: 5 days a week

Perks: Share of tips, subsidised accommodation is available on site

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef to join a passionate family run business to lead the food offering. You would be developing the food offering & menu and have a great opportunity to showcase your skills on the specials board. This venue is easily accessible from Malton, Driffield & Scarborough with your own transport.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Head Chef at The Bluebell you will:

Lead & develop the food offering in the restaurant

Assist in menu development & have sole responsibility for the specials

Play a part in the recruitment of the kitchen team

Oversee the stock management and working with suppliers

Planning rotas and managing the team in the kitchen

Oversee the Food Safety and Health & Safety in the kitchen

What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate for the Head Chef role at The Bluebell will possess:

Relevant catering qualifications

Food Safety Level 2

Basic IT skills.

Previous experience in a similar pub/restaurant environment

Own transport due to the location of the pub
