The Client
My client is an award-winning events catering company who pride themselves on delivering fabulous and innovative food at a variety of beautiful venues and events. As Head Chef you will be responsible for managing the kitchen team along with creating menus and delivery high-end food to outstanding events and will be willing to go that extra mile.
What does the role entail?
Responsible for food production, packing and delivery of all events
Creative and experienced in office work, developing seasonal menus, and kitchen financials
Monthly stock takes
Manage the team of full time and freelance chefs
Create specs for all menus created.
Recruit and mentor additional chefs where required
Conduct spot checks of food quality and kitchen cleanliness to ensure the 5* standard
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a head chef within an event catering company, banqueting, hotels or restaurant
Ability to guide and manage a team
Be a creative chef always thinking of new ideas
Passionate about food
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility to work some weekendsand evenings
Long term future in the business is wanted.
