ABOUT THE JOB
We are currently seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join our team. Someone who can think both creatively and critically; someone with excellent communication skills who can turn out exceptional work and constantly thinks about how they can elevate designs. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills. This will be a 12-month fixed term contract role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop high-impact, sleek designs for website, PowerPoint and marketing collateral including but not limited to: emails, brochures, banner ads, digital screens and social media graphics
Create designs, concepts, and layouts that meet specific graphical needs - utilizing expertise and knowledge of aesthetic design principles
Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing team to align designs and development goals, while maintaining a seamless execution
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign concepts for field events, corporate events and annual user conference and partner summit
Manage projects and deadlines while working both independently and under supervision
Apply master creative concepts to various assets in digital and print
Confidently facilitate ideation sessions and clearly represent creative work in meetings and reviews
QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
Formal Education and Certification
Four-year college degree in fields such as Fine Arts, Graphic Design or related field preferred.
5-7+ years of experience in interactive and print design
Knowledge and Experience
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft PowerPoint
Understanding of trends within the scope of the design industry
Ability to effectively establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color
Experience supporting an employer brand and/or B2B marketing communications
Excellent organizational and project-management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as an effective team member
