Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:
1. Support classroom teachers in delivering educational programmes.
2. Assist in planning and implementing lessons and activities.
3. Provide one-to-one or small group support to students.
4. Help create a positive learning environment.
5. Supervise students during lessons and other school activities.
6. Assist with administrative tasks related to teaching.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Education or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Good organisational skills
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of educational principles and practises
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with children and young people
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a school setting
- Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential for some evening or weekend work for school events
- May involve standing for long periods and some physical activity

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
