Global Accountant – Group Financial Planning & Analysis

£55K - £65K per annum dependent upon experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Accountant to join the Group Financial Planning & Analysis team to support the FP&A Managers and Head of FP&A in the delivery of high quality management information to drive strategic and financial decision making within the Group.
What you'll do:
Use an excellent understanding of the business and value drivers to support the FP&A Managers with the production of management information (monthly flash, quarterly MI and ad-hoc deep dives) used to drive strategic and financial decision making by the Group CFO, CEO and Board
Support with the production of the Group 3-year plan in conjunction with the Market Units and other Group teams (incl. Strategy, Corporate Development, Risk and Treasury)
Prepare materials and market commentary used in Bupa’s external results releases
Build relationships and partner with the Market Unit teams around the Globe to access greater depth of insight and add value to their processes
Create an environment of continuous improvement, driving efficiencies and process change to ensure that all reporting is conducted to the highest possible standard in the most efficient manner
Assist with finance systems development as we seek to unlock the full potential of technology within FP&A
What you’ll bring:
Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
Good commercial grounding (insurance experience preferred but not essential)
Ability to build relationships not only within the finance functions but also with other internal stakeholders
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to search out relevant information and trends, and present this information in a manner appropriate for the Board
Experience of coordinating large processes with multiple stakeholders
Management reporting including consolidation of results and report writing at a level appropriate for the Executive Team and the Board
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including preparation of executive presentations
Good listening and influencing skills
Ability to adapt to changing and ambiguous situations
An organised and flexible approach to work
