Geography Teacher – Experienced Teacher or ECT – Central London – Islington – September 2024

We are working with a GOOD secondary school in the Central London borough of Islington to recruit a talented Geography Teacher for September 2024!

This school can offer a wide range of CPD which is either carried out by members of their SLT or other experts within the borough. The training will be tailored to you – whether you are an ECT just starting out or an Experienced Teacher looking to progress. 

The Head of the Geography Department ensures that there is a strong support system throughout, ensuring that there is shared planning, moderation, resources, and advice given whenever you need it. 

Independence is something that is valued highly at the school as they encourage teachers to bring out their own teaching styles into their lessons.

Applicants MUST be a qualified teacher and hold UK QTS!

  • Inner London Pay Scale - MPS1 – UPS3 (£36,745 - £56,959)
  • September 2024 start, Permanent Contract
  • Working within a growing Geography Department
  • Teaching KS3-5
  • CPD given to match you as an individual and progress your career

  • Must have or be working towards UK QTS
  • Strong academic background – Degree & A-levels
  • Meeting the teaching standards – Good & Outstanding
