JOB DESCRIPTION A great opportunity to join the Kuehne+Nagel team in Bicester.
Commissioning and annual servicing of Fire Extinguisher held in stock
Servicing a wide variety of equipment; Irons, Lighting units, Power transformers, cabling
Service and repairs of Kayak trailers
Safe use of tooling held within the department
Servicing of heating systems and fuel containers
Carry out servicing work and reports as required in accordance with the relevant technical publications for: MoD & Loan Pool stocks
Use trade skills and qualifications in conjunction with current technical documents to carry out servicing and repair to MoD stock
Responsible for ensuring that serviceable stock is available for MoD customers within time constraints/KPI’s
Work to be planned for priority items on a daily basis overall section work to be planned on a weekly basis
Complete the daily MHE safety checks (where applicable)
Experience of working to agreed targets
PC literate
MHE licence (where applicable)
Recognised Engineering Qualifications (City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ2 or equivalent)
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
Reliable
Good Communication skills
Ability to achieve a high level of accuracy
High attention to detail
Effective decision maker
