We are seeking a skilled gas plumber to join our team for an ongoing role, working on a social housing contract across the North East. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced professional looking for a secure and stable position within a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out all aspects of domestic plumbing and gas-related work in social housing properties.
Installation, servicing, and repairs of domestic gas appliances, heating systems, and associated plumbing.
Conduct safety checks, diagnostics, and fault finding to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with tenants and site staff.
Ensure that work is carried out in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
Requirements:
Gas safe registered with valid qualifications (e.g., CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CPA1).
CSCS card.
Proven experience in domestic plumbing and heating, ideally within social housing.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
