Job Description
Step Teachers are collaborating with a secondary school in Islington seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated French Teacher to join their team in September 2024. The successful candidate will be passionate about language learning and committed to delivering high-quality education to students.
French Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French to students at various levels.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for languages.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and language-related events within the school community.
French Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in French or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages and culture.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Experience teaching French at a KS3 and KS4 level.
