Hays Belfast are recruiting for a County Antrim basedpany who are looking to recruit a Foreman for ongoing work within the NIHE (Northern Ireland Housing Executive) Framework. Your newpany specialises in delivering quality construction, electrical and mechanical projects across a range of public and private sector organisations in Northern Ireland. As the newest member of the NIHE team, you’ll find apany willing to invest in your career development as you travel to jobs throughout the Antrim and Belfast areas and aim to improve social housing across Northern Ireland. Thispany holds long standing frameworks within the NIHE and has various sites across the country with upgrades and refurbishment works, along with adaptions and extensions to properties.

Your new role
The role of Foreman will see you covering multiple sites across the Ballymena and Belfast areas, with the view to ‘floating’ between sites and working closely with the site teams on each. Sites will consist of refurbishments to NIHE residential schemes with a particular focus on disability adaptations and extensions. Work may also include refurbishment projects for windows, kitchens and bathrooms. It would be preferable for you toe from a trade background and have experience of overseeing multiple trades on site inclusive of joiners, plasterers, and plumbers, to ensure a quality service is delivered in a timely manner. You will manage direct staff and subcontractors on site, ensuring materials are delivered and oversee the pricing and running of the daily operations on site. Previous experience in a similar role within the NIHE will be required as well as being a strongmunicator who can liaise with the teams and oversee work.

What you'll need to succeed
To fulfil the needs of this role, you will ideally possess a high level ofmunication, organisation, and the ability to uphold a high standard of workmanship throughout each home. Ideally, you will have a joinery and or other trade background as well as some experience in refurbishment, with experience working on the NIHE framework. It is required that you have previous suitable experience as a Site Manager / Foreman / Supervisor and the right to work in the UK full time. Furthermore, you must hold a valid CSR Site Supervisor Card, CSCS, or SMSTS training certificate.
