Overall Purpose of the role
Assist with a range food and beverage service activities on the wards. Main aim will be to carry out a range of catering duties, ensuring a high-quality service is provided at all times.
You will be working Saturday and Sunday between 16:00 to 19:00, 6 hours per week.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
Assisting with food preparation / probing food for temperature / completing due diligence paperwork
Dishing up food and drinks on the ward to patients
Replacing / refilling of water jugs
Assist with collection and washing up of cutlery, crockery and trays
Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and ready for the next shift
Ordering stock and filling up
Report broken equipment to supervisor
Professional Qualifications
Food Hygiene Certificate at National Level 1 – preferred but not essential as training will be given
Experience
Experience in catering role
Good customer service skills
Use of tablet is desirable but training will be provided
