ABOUT THE ROLE

About the role:

  • The successful Fire Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Conducting fire risk assessments for buildings and facilities.
  • Designing fire suppression systems, such as sprinklers and fire alarms.
  • Developing evacuation plans and procedures for emergencies.
  • Ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Reviewing building plans and layouts to identify fire hazards and recommend improvements.
  • Investigating the causes of fires and recommending preventive measures.
  • Conducting fire drills and training sessions for staff and occupants.

    The requirements for the Fire Engineer:

  • Type 1 – 4 FRA’s
  • MIFSM
  • MIFire E
  • External wall risk assessments
