Job Description
The key duties are as followed:
Provide financial leadership and guidance to the team
Oversee and manage department budget and financial planning
Regularly review financial data and support departments with their budgeting
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Implement effective strategies to improve financial performance
Collaborate with other department heads on financial matters
Prepare financial reports for senior management
Handle any financial irregularities promptly and professionally
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
A strong educational background in finance, accounting or a related field
Previous NHS experience
Previous experience in a finance leadership role
Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and standards
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
