Your new roleWorking within amercial finance team, you take on a variety of duties in this entry-level finance position. You will have the opportunity to spend time on different areas within the accounts team with your main duties beginning with accounts payable, processing invoices and reconciling statements to understanding and processing TAX and VAT returns, as well as CIS and subcontract ledger transactions. Assisting the Management Accountants, you will take on ad-hoc duties running Excel reports, as well as office-based administration tasks to assist the team.
What you'll need to succeedThis is an excellent opportunity to start your accountancy career under the guidance of an experienced finance team. Therefore, any office-based experience will be weed (as this is an entry level position) along with knowledge of basic accountancy principles. Most importantly, you will have already chosen accountancy as your career choice and have the desire to work your way up, initially supporting the team with any tasks. Amitted and enthusiastic manner is required, along with a team-orientated approach and a can-do attitude.
