Financial Director 5-8 days per month (Engineering /Construction sector experience)

Our exclusive client is looking for a very experienced FD to join their business. This organisation whist relatively new has grown extensively over the last 5 years. They have a strong leadership team and board made up of experienced advisors and professionals. Not only are they growing organically they are looking at external investment and acquisitions, so it is essential you have experience in these areas. We imagine the role will be 1-2 days per week with days and location being flexible.

Key duties

Working closely with the business owner and leadership team you will play a key role in shaping the future of the business

Forecasting

Business planning

Variance and contract analysis

Close liaison with advisors

European contracting experience would be an advantage

Experience of integrating recently acquired companies into a group

Strong negotiation skills

Proven analytical skills
