£23,000 3-6 month FTC (Potential temp-perm)

Bell Cornwall Recruitment’s client is a charity based in Selly Oak who are looking for a fresh face to join their finance team as a finance assistant! This individual will be involved in maintaining the organisations financial information and ensuring support to the financial health of colleagues and those aided by the charity is ensured.

The Finance Assistant Role:

  • Setting up supplier accounts in line with procurement policy
  • Processing invoices and generating reports
  • Day to day maintenance of ledgers
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and scanning of financial documents
  • Working collaboratively with credit control to ensure queries are resolved
  • Administer and provide support with on site banking
  • The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience maintaining ledgers
  • Experience raising invoices and POs
  • Understanding of MS Office, especially excel
  • Eagerness to learn and support the wider team
  • Experience using a computerised finance system
  • A form of accountancy qualification or studying towards- for example AAT (Desirable)
