The Role: Fibre Splicers
Location: Birmingham
Duration: Around 8 weeks
Start Date: Monday 13th May
Rate: For engineers with own splicer / tester then it is £280 per day, outside IR35. Engineers without their own kit, £220 per day.
We’re looking to bring in 2 fibre engineers to work on a fibre installation project for a sporting arena in Birmingham.
Working as part of a small team, we’re looking for a couple of experienced splicers (Ideally with your own kit, so splicer and tester) to join the project which will be end to end installation, termination and testing of single mode fibre cables.
It’s essential you have the IPAF 3b qualification along with a good eye for health and safety, alongside a flexible attitude to the working day to fit in with the customer requirements.
Exposure to fibre blowing / jetting is a bonus.
This could potentially lead to ongoing work across the country, as the project is using some innovative technology (Training will be given) that is potentially part of a national roll out programme.
Contract roles are LTD company and have been classed as outside IR35.
