Permanent EYFS Teaching Assistant needed in Sunderland.
The Education Network is working with a school in Sunderland who are looking to employ a permanent EYFS teaching assistant. The candidate would ideally start in September 2024 but there is a possibility of an early start for the right candidate.
This position is to work full time.
Overview of the role of Teaching Assistant:
- Mentoring, supporting and inspiring learners by supporting them with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, on home tuition and outreach and through outdoor activities.
- Assist with the preparation of learning material and contributing to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management.
- Daily reports on learners' progress and barriers to learning.
- Interaction with parents/care givers on a regular basis
We would love to hear from people who:

Salery would be negotiated with the school directly based on experience.
The Education Network are also recruiting for long-term temporary roles which are available now and again commencing in Septemnr 2024.
