EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

GSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Lincoln.
Job Summary
- Assist in planning and implementing educational activities tailored to the needs of SEN children.
- Support the child's learning and development within the EYFS framework, ensuring they can access the curriculum at their level.
- Ensure the learning environment is safe, supportive, and conducive to learning for all children, particularly those with SEN.
- Implement safeguarding policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to children with special educational needs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Assist the class teacher in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help with the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities.
- Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Foster a safe and positive classroom atmosphere.
The successful candidate will:
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within the EYFS framework.
- Previous experience with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are advantageous.
