We are looking for a  Experienced Support Worker  (Internally known as a Support Co-Ordinator) who shares our purpose, to join our expanding Independent Living Services Team  where we house and support young people 16+ under Local Authority Care across Gloucestershire.

We have properties in predominately Cheltenham and Gloucester and we need people who are flexible to work from any of these locations.

We are looking for someone to work Full-time  (40 hours per week) or  P art-time  on a rota basis (minimum 15 hours per week) . We need people who are  flexible  to  work varying shifts  including  mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.

We provide bespoke support packages to suit a broad range of young people ranging from 24/7 to a few hours per week. Our focus is to provide the highest quality of support in line with Ofsted Standards . We aim to enhance individuals' independence skills, empowering them to advance their aspirations with greater confidence and capability.

    Provide a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach to empower young people in improving  independent living skills.

    Safeguard them from any potential danger, harm, or abuse.

    Accurately document notes on our computer system and ensure seamless communication with support staff for effective handovers.

    Application Information:

    Position:  Experienced Support Worker (Internally known as Support Co-ordinator) (Job ID 865)

    Hours:  Full-time is 40 hours a week. Part-time also available. Shifts are on a rota basis including some weekends and Sleep shifts.

    Contract:  Permanent

    Location: Various locations across Gloucestershire, mostly Cheltenham and Gloucester.

    Pay:  £24,725 per year BAND C. Part-time salary will be pro rata plus an additional £8,320 per year if completing two sleep in shifts a week (£80 Sleep per sleep shift). Bank is £12.50 per hour, plus holiday pay accrual

    ^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.

    ^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. You'll need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.
