Executive Chef, London, £60k plus benefits

Are you an Executive Chef who specialises in Menu Development and is looking for an exciting new challenge?! You will be responsible for driving culinary innovation and excellence in the UK and Ireland. This includes generating ideas, developing and implementing new culinary initiatives, and overseeing their execution. This position involves significant hands-on work in the kitchen and requires close collaboration with the account managers.

  • Responsibilities of an Executive Chef (Development):

  • Meet customer expectations, business goals, and targets to optimise resources.
  • Collaborate with menu development and account managers to enhance customer satisfaction, increase revenue, and find new business opportunities.
  • Participate in meetings on customer issues and menu development.
  • Support menu presentations, bids, and workshops globally.
  • Engage and develop team members.
  • Experience:

  • At least 7 years of experience as a Chef or Executive Chef.
  • An additional 2 to 5 years in a role focused on menu design and planning.
  • Experience in a high-volume food service setting is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in overseeing a large-scale food manufacturing operation.
  • A qualified Chef with international food experience, particularly in in-flight catering, is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in leading teams within the food industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, as well as financial and performance targets.
