Job Title Event Operations Manager – High-End Hotel
Salary: £40,000 + Service Charge + Benefits

My client is a high-end hotel in Surrey who host who deliver a variety of events from Meetings, Private Dining and Exclusive Hires for high-profile guests. We are seeking an experienced events operations manager to join the team, working closely with other departments to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the planning and smooth operational delivery of events
Responsible for the review and action plan to improve delivery of events
Recruitment and training of full time and casual staff
Lead and manage event concepts through to delivery phase and budget reconciliation
Managing external suppliers and contractors
Bring innovative solutions to the department
Ensure SOPs are in place and updated as and when required
Deliver outstanding customer events experience
The Ideal candidate:
Previous experience of managing events within a luxury hotel
Strong man management skills, ability to lead an engaged team
Solid knowledge of all relevant H&S legislations
Contract management and negotiation skills
Creative and able to think outside the box
Excellent communication skills
Detailed understanding of budget management
