About the Role
The Equipment and Distribution Specialist will work within the Operations team, packing and distributing sports and activity equipment for Kings Camps activity camps across the UK.
Working as part of our Operations team, you will be packing resources and distributing sports and activity equipment for delivery of 100+ annual programmes that benefit thousands of young people each year. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with an ethos to – ‘Get Things Shipped’. The role involves some UK travel.
This is a full time, Fixed-Term contract, 6 months, expected to start May 2024, with potential for permanent employment.
About Operations
As Equipment and Resource Specialist, you’ll be part of the wider Operations Team who Get. Things. Shipped. You’ll be ready to get stuck in and ensure that our activity camps, Kings Camps, run successfully. You’ll work at our small but mighty warehouse in Sheffield throughout the week, and each Monday join the wider HQ team at our Sheffield Head Office.
Without you, good planning and training our camps can’t happen!
About You
We’re looking for you to be a team player, who is able to work in a fast-paced, process driven environment, with a high level of attention to detail. Possess a good working knowledge of Office365 (Excel and Word) and an understanding of stock systems. A clean, full driving license is desirable, but not essential.

- Where: Kings Active Foundation Warehouse (Sheffield, S3) with some travel across the UK
- Fixed – Term contract, 6 months (May- October) with potential for permanent opportunity
- Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 per annum, DOE
- Working Hours: Flexible working between 8am – 6pm (flexible approach to working hours and peak periods can involve being
on-call over evenings and weekends) - Auto-enrolment company pension and employer contributions
- Holiday: 20 days plus statutory holidays, increasing to 25 days during length of service (pro rata)
- Additional discretionary holiday days
- Report Directly to Warehouse and Facilities Manager
- Monthly 1:1 development meetings
