We are currently working with a leading organisation involved in a major project who are looking for an Environmental Consents Specialist (Water). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to environmental compliance and project success.
The Environmental Consents Specialist will be responsible for:
Advise on identification and consolidation of necessary Environmental Consents (water) required for the project.
Ensure the quality of supporting information and documentation for all consent applications.
Review and comment on technical documentation provided for pre-application, draft, and formal submission.
Liaise extensively with internal teams and external Consent Granting Bodies (, Environment Agency, Local Authorities) to ensure all necessary consents are in place.
Provide feedback to delivery teams regarding environmental obligations relevant to the consenting process.
The Environmental Consents Specialist will have:
Minimum 3 years of experience obtaining Environmental Consents, specifically related to water.
Effective communication skills
Knowledge of environmental contamination, hydrogeology, hydrology, and flood risk considerations.
Understanding of current Environmental legislation.
Proven record of securing Consents in a timely manner and ensuring compliance.
