Hull Training and Adult Education is part of Hull City Council and is one of the major providers of apprenticeships and further education in the region with an excellent reputation for delivering quality courses. 

The Business & Digital team offer apprenticeships and associated training in Business and Management as well as vocational teaching training. We are a forward-thinking team looking to recruit a sales orientated and highly motivated Engagement Lead.

This role will be primarily to focus on the Business and Management offer; however, you will be expected to have a good knowledge of all the areas of delivery that Hull Training and Adult Education offer as you will support other areas.

The purpose of this role is to promote the service Hull Training and Adult Education offers to employers and potential learners, raising the awareness and understanding of the benefits of Apprenticeships and associated training opportunities (including Skills Bootcamps and Adult Education) from Entry Level to level 5.

The post holder will support employers with funding opportunities and training needs analysis to assist with their business and workforce development. The post holder will be responsible for the production of all contractual documentation between the Employer, Apprentice and Hull Training and Adult Education and the ESFA/DFE.

We are looking for an individual who can make a significant contribution to the development of the service and meet departmental targets. You should have in-depth industry knowledge, including current Government apprenticeship legislation and be aware of Local Labour Market Information and the cities improvement plan. You must be vocationally competent and qualified to at least NVQ3 standard, possess an appropriate qualification and a current IOSH or NEBOSH qualification. Excellent networking and negotiation skills are essential.
