As an Energy Transition Originator you will originate, structure and execute energy transition transactions in the German Market. Building a pipeline of Energy Transaction opportunities such as renewable PPA, battery, flex generation, green certificates and corporate PPA you will help the German market transition to greener energy. You will be responsible for building out profitable portfolio of energy transition transactions.
What you’ll do
As an Energy Transition Originator you will work with internal stakeholders to build relevant capabilities, pricing and trading management tools to support the transition to a renewable energy market for Germany. You will be responsible for building out the counterparty/client network in Germany and building internal relationships with the SEFE Germany office including setting up new capabilities that will enable Energy Transition transactions internally. You will also be responsible for;
• Coordinate the execution of new transactions and co-operate with internal support and risk teams to get all approvals in place
• Energy origination/structuring in the German market
• Build out transaction pipeline and network in Germany
• Client relationship management of new and existing clients
• As the expert you will stay on top of new developments and regulatory changes in the energy transition market and ensure that this is communicated internally
What you’ll bring to the role
Working in a new growth area you will have previous experience in execution or management of PPA transactions in Germany. You must have knowledge of the German Power Market and forecasting/optimisation strategies. You will will have ;
• Previous experience/knowledge of key players in the renewable generators, funds, storage operators and corporates in Germany
• Execution of new transactions in Germany
• Excellent influencing skills
• Fluent in German and English
This role will be expected to travel to/from Germany on a regular basis
