Ensure Compliance § Ensuring strictadherence to all regulatory issues and compliance of all internalcontrols. Implement and Comply with Group Compliance Policy. Shoulddeliver considering the operational risk associated with therole.
Mandatory Technical Roles /Responsibilities § In depth experience on EnterpriseStorage Management
§ Open to work in a 24x7support ( rotational weekend & night shifts )
§ Design plan document and support the configuration oflogical and physical SAN layouts.
§ Create andmanage scripts to automate the administrative tasks and providesystem level reports
§ Perform analysis anddevelop solutions based on established service agreements forcapacity planning and performance tuning.
§Participate in the development of SAN level solution standards.
§ Develop detailed design installation andconfiguration documentation for enterprise system deployments.
§ Ensure in solutions and deployments of thesecurity of infrastructure and compliance with all applicablesecurity standards
§ Recommend and overseeprojects that expand change or improve the systems and relatedinfrastructure.
§ Provide assistance inreviewing performance and capacity requests as well as designsolution resolution.
§ Collaborate with themanagement to ensure an understanding of business cases and toensure that the appropriate solution is selected that meets thebusiness need.
§ Develop solutions with afocus on reducing operating costs or increasing guest and crewexperience.
§ Understand advances and changesin the technology industry and work directly with the vendors toassess new technologies.
§ Contribute asnecessary in a handson manner with the implementation of solutionsin support of all projects.
§ Work with otherinfrastructure teams for new systems designed and engineered.
§ Act as the highest level of technicalescalation for production issues encountered.
§ Provide system support and troubleshooting expertise asneeded for designed solutions.
§ Perform otherduties and special projects as required.
§Leverage experience to provide input to improvements (PeopleProcess Tools and Technology) in the environment and recommendinnovative and automated approaches for system administrationtasks.
§ Resolve complex issues independently;coordinate and communicate changes and issues with the client andteam members and determine root cause.
§Should have indepth knowledge of tools such as CI.
§ Handson experience on Block Storage EMC (VMAX PMAXXTREMIO) / Pure / Cisco and Brocade
§Configuration and troubleshooting of SAN SRDF Time Finder Zoningetc...
§ Good understanding on Fiber Channelconcepts.
Optional TechnicalResponsibilities § Understanding of VMware infrastructurespecifically datastore provisioning and configuration
§ General understanding of networking concepts such asVLAN trunking LACP IP addressing and routing
§Understand procedures to ensure consistent storage provisioninguptime regulatory compliance and data protection.

§ Ensure vendors and services providers areproviding optimal value to HSBC.
§ Reviews andevaluates the team's work.
§ Createsmaintains and/or contributes to the definition and documentation ofany IT standard or service catalog item under team’spurview.
§ Leads efforts to improve processesand meet strategic goals within the team.
§Develop team technology and process roadmaps.
§Ensures team follows IT processes including Change &Release management.
§ Oversees SAN performanceand capacity by monitoring alerting and reporting.
