My client is looking for four project shift engineers electrically bias to be based in a commercial bank in Liverpool Street, London. The successful candidates will be Electrically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial project works . Working with the Project team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical or mechanical installation work to the following. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000, further training and career progression.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Approve Safe Systems of Work (SSoWs) and ensure contractor compliance.
- Issue permits and conduct health and safety assessments for project activities.
- Monitor contractors to ensure adherence to SSoWs and safety standards.
- Inspect and approve completed works for quality and compliance.
- Escort contractors and ensure compliance with site safety protocols.
- Assess risk assessments and provide appropriate permits for safe execution.
- Execute electrical isolation procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Oversee the replacement of fan coil units, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Supervise the removal and installation of chillers, ensuring safe handling and functionality.
- Lead pipework modifications to enhance system performance and compliance.
- Manage the replacement of electrical boards, ensuring reliable power distribution.
- Plan and install valves, adhering to engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Oversee BMS upgrades, integrating new systems with existing infrastructure.
- Supervise pump panel installations, ensuring optimal performance and maintenance.
- Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates.
- Work with internal teams and contractors to ensure project success.
- Ensure projects comply with health and safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor project quality and address issues promptly.
- Manage project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- Electrically qualified level 3 (C&G, NVQ etc)
- 18th edition if electrically biased
- 2391 highly desired
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC, generators, UPS, and electrical distribution.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Competence in using project management software and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and with external contractors.
- Must be able to get to the site for 07:00 am start
