Key Roles &Responsibilities:

• Jobfunctions will include: significant design and designreview responsibilities engineering
• calculations studies detailed design reportwriting field investigations and direction of lower level
• engineers and/or designers
• Interacts with Project Managers and otherengineers
• Directs project workflow ofengineers designers and drafters to ensure projectcompletion
• Responsible for the technicalcontent and quality of the work and the functional integration ofindividual project tasks

Selects and applies engineeringprinciples and concepts in field of specialization with advanced

working knowledge of otherrelated disciplines

• Responsible for reporting on work progress
• Provides input to the Project Execution Plan
• Performs tasks with minimal supervision
• Frequently interacts with clients vendors andcontractors
• Responsible for following andimplementing corporate safety protocols and for schedulingmandatory

safetymeetings

Complexity DecisionMaking ProblemSolving &Nature of Impact (i.e. Scope):

• Conforms to and utilizes established design and qualitystandards for project deliverables
• Followsdirection and supports efforts of Project Team and Project Manager
• Responsible for effectively communicatingdiscipline specific information to Lead Engineer and
• appropriate team members
• Establishesand implements the project design basis for discipline
• Manages changes in project scope indentifies potentialrisks and works with Lead Engineer to
• developcontingency plans
• Demonstrates advanced levelof proficiency in technical subjects

Knowledge Skills &Abilities:

• Demonstratesadvanced ability to work with various engineering software packagesin standalone or
• networkconfigurations
• Possesses advanced technicalskills and understanding of interdisciplinary designprocesses
• Ability to organize and prioritizeworkload for self and others
• Demonstratesability to lead and direct project personnel

ManagementResponsibilities:

• Responsible for management of engineers anddesigners

Qualifications(Education Experience and Certifications):

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering froman ABET accredited college/university required
• Typically twelve plus years related engineeringexperience
• PE preferred
• Ability to work with engineering software packages aplus
• Microsoft Office experiencerequired

Environment/WorkingConditions:

• Most work tobe performed in office environment with periodic visits to projectsites and/or short term
• fieldassignments
• Some travel required
• Other Considerations/Requirements:
• Ability to sit for long periods of time; manualdexterity; may stand for prolonged periods of time walk
• and/or climb through various types of terrain wherebalancing stooping kneeling crouching crawling
• and reaching may be required
• Validdrivers license
