Echo TechThe Job: Performs all ultrasoundprocedures and administrative work.Work Schedule: FullTime MF (8hour shifts) Location: Grand Valley Cardiologymay float to Cath Labif neededResponsibilities: Responsible for properly greetingpatients verify correct patient name DOB proper exam and diagnosisand verify Dr. order prior to performing exams or procedures.Responsible for cleaning all equipment after every use (scannertable counters operators console workstations injectors wheelchairsetc.) and stocking rooms after exams. Responsible for taking calland performing all Technologists duties of assigned positionaccording to the needs of the department to provide coverage foreach modality. Responsible for knowing equipment scanningtechniques and parameters in accordance with Radiologist requestsand recommendations. Responsible for providing proper preps andprotocols per exam to ensure the proper test for the properdiagnosis. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.Hospital ARDMS Registered
