About the role
Passionate Disability Support Workers required for our all-female 3 resident accommodation home located in Croydon. The DSW will provide high quality personalised care to our residents living with a disability, empowering them to live the life of their choice in a residential setting.
You will be working within a friendly, passionate team to support clients and their families’ providing care and arranging outings to ensure a positive environment for all.
About you
You will be an experienced Disability Support Worker who enjoys working in an accommodation home supporting residents with mental health, Behaviours of concern and intellectual disability empowering them to live their best life. You will be available for a range of morning, afternoon, and sleepover night shifts weekdays and weekends.
Role requirements
Certificate III Individual Support - Disability
Previous experience in Disability Support and knowledge of the Disability sector
Passion for providing ‘person centred active care’
Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Current full Victorian Driver licence essential
NDIS Check, WWC and Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate
Ability to work a roster week days, weekends, morning, afternoon, and sleepover shifts.
