The Director, Product Marketing is a pivotal role on a highly collaborative team that drives customer and prospect awareness of Signant capabilities and strengths, and connects product roadmaps and market requirements to marketing strategy, sales enablement and tactical campaigns.

As part of our team, your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Subject matter expert for our product and service capabilities, customer and user needs, and competitive landscape and use this experience to develop and drive effective marketecture and a product positioning and messaging strategy to drive all corporate and commercial communications.
  • Drive commercial success of our products and services by ensuring the commercial team is equipped with the tools, resources and know-how to effectively and consistently communicate product capabilities and strengths, to position against competitors, and to drive lead generation, bid defense and opportunity win rates.
  • Partner with Product Management to ensure the promotion of new releases and new products in a timely manner and optimize return on development investments.
  • Develop and own the product marketing roadmap to ensure effective promotion of Signant solutions, services, and thought leadership across our suite of technologies and services. Work with the wider marketing organization to ensure appropriate prioritization of product marketing activities within the wider corporate marketing roadmap.
  • Act as product positioning expert to drive competitive messaging, plan external product launches, develop effective sales support materials and ensure effective sales enablement.
  • Team with other subject matter experts, both internal and customer, to generate, and implement bespoke selling materials that resonate with customers at the compound/trial level.
  • Advocate for the voice of the user (patients, sites, study teams) to directly influence product roadmap and marketing campaigns.
  • Build, expand and drive key go to market channels including CRO partnerships.
  • Coach and mentor marketing team content creation members to enable relevant and targeted product- and service-related content development. Assure the marketing team delivers content that aligns with product positioning and messaging strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Drive internal communications and training strategies to increase company knowledge of product roadmap and specific product/service lines.
  • Own, manage and evolve product marketecture, marketing strategy, messaging strategy by product
  • Identify and execute strategic themes to drive competitive positioning and ensure awareness of key strengths and differentiators
  • Plan and execute product and feature launches to segmented customer bases
  • Work between product teams, Go To Market team, and commercial team to align and drive priorities
  • You’ll need to bring: 

  • Expert product launch and project management capabilities
  • Strong eClinical product and technology landscape understanding
  • Ability to balance needs of all stakeholders (execs, commercial, product, sales, customers, users)
  • Experience in pharmaceutical clinical trials industry, with clinical trial technology experience
  • Market segmenting, competitive positioning and messaging skills
  • Sales support capabilities and material generation
  • SME and lead generation campaign development and execution
  • Strong written and presentation/speaking skills
  • We’d be thrilled to hear that you also have:

  • Responsibilities for product marketing activity within an eClinical solution provider
  • Experience in publication writing for trade journal or peer reviewed scientific journals
