DIMENSION & SCOPE:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our team. As the Director FP&A, you will play a critical role in delivering financial planning, management reporting, and providing key insights and analysis to influence and assist the business in setting and achieving its strategic objectives across the international region spanning four distinct sales markets EMEA, APAC, India and Japan.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Act as a trusted business partner to the GCE VP-GMs for the international region, collaborating to build the financial plan and operational strategic plan.

  • Influence strategies based on your experience and expertise.

  • Deliver relevant financial reporting, decision support analysis, and governance against strategic goals and international contribution P&L.

  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and challenge business results, ensuring consistency across regions.

  • Analyze performance against objectives and recommend strategies for improvement.

  • Drive insights that enable continuous improvement and lead the implementation of recommended improvements.

  • Lead forecasting, revenue assurance, and functional policy discussions during reviews with the international leadership team.

  • Corporate Planning Alignment :

  • Serve as the conduit and owner of the international plans and strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and strategies.

  • Oversee the corporate planning governance process for the international region.

  • Coordinate the development of the International annual plan, strategic plan, long-term forecast (LTF), outlooks, current quarter revenue assurance (CQRA), cash forecast, collection, and assurance.

  • Transformational Activities :

  • Drive transformational activities and other process improvements.

  • Streamline and develop key reporting needs for the region.

  • Initiate and implement innovative ideas to improve efficiency and effectiveness in FP&A processes.

  • Customer Credit and Cash Management :

  • Track and report on international cash forecast, progress against the forecast, and actions required to achieve the forecast.

  • Team Management and Development :

  • Influence regional teams FP&A outputs.

  • Mentor professional and managerial staff for career growth and enhance the organization's long-term capabilities.

  • Provide direction on planning and forecasting processes, including methodology setting and variance analysis.

  • Cross-train team members to ensure continuity and support for various processes and deliverables.

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Qualifications in Business discipline or related field.

  • 10+ years’ experience working in a multinational organization with exposure to multiple countries and regions.

  • CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Strong knowledge of financial planning processes, forecasting, and variance analysis.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and set direction.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
