Career Teachers are recruiting for qualified QTS or PGCE Design and Technology Teachers within schools based around Sheffield and South Yorkshire. These will be to work on either a full-time and long-term basis or part-time, day to day basis.
Whether you’re a Food Technology, Resistant Materials or Graphics Teacher – we want to hear from you!
Whether you have multiple years of teaching experience or you have recently completed your studies, we have positions for you!
To be considered for this role you will need to:
- Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications.
- Have strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse students.
- Have a dedication to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments where every student can thrive.
- Have recent, relevant experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4).levels.
- Be flexible, committed, motivational and passionate about teaching.
- Have a current DBS or be willing to complete a new one.
- Be able to easily commute to Sheffield or within the South Yorkshire area.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be resilient and adaptable to ensure you thrive in a dynamic classroom environment.
