The Person
We are looking for an MEP Design Manager who has experience of working on major schemes of this type. You will be responsible for the pre-con design management and your role will include:-
Review tender documentation and identify project risks.
Assisting the design team through the scheme / production design stage and the delivery team through into implementation and handover.
Demonstrate design management procedures, prepare design programme and set design deliverables.
Attend/chair design team meetings as necessary during contract.
Monitor and report on design progress, statutory approvals, outstanding information required, subcontractor design, environmental/CDM issues.
Ensure compliance with BREEAM.
Develop and agree design input/output responsibilities between consultants and subcontractors with design responsibilities.
Monitor progress and status of RFI's and document control.
