Looking for an exciting opportunity to join a high achieving Secondary school in Enfield as a dedicated and passionate Design and Technology Teacher? We are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Design and Technology Teacher to inspire and educate students, helping them reach their full potential. The position is full time and the successful candidate is expected to start in September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on instruction in our fully equipped workshops.
- Mentor and support students as they explore design concepts and develop their projects.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
- Collaborate with fellow Design and Technology Teachers to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements, infusing your expertise into the curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in design, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
- Demonstrated years of experience teaching Design and Technology, with a focus on resistance and graphic materials.
- As a Design and Technology Teacher, you should have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to fostering creativity and innovation in students.
