About the Role
As Deputy Head of Mathematics, you will play a crucial role in supporting the department's success. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Head of Department in leading and managing the team
- Contributing to the development and implementation of a comprehensive Maths curriculum
- Supporting and mentoring Mathematics teachers
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress and departmental performance
- Contributing to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for students
Qualifications and Experience
- A recognized teaching qualification (QTS or PGCE)
- Strong academic background in Mathematics
- Minimum of 3 years' experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for mathematics education and inspiring students
