Do you have experience working within an electoral services environment?

  

We have the perfect job for you to join our team of dedicated electoral professionals and assist the Electoral Services Manager in the effective delivery of elections and electoral registration.   This is a great opportunity for an experienced electoral administrator who is looking to take the next step in their career, or for an established Deputy Electoral Service Manager to pursue an opportunity in a different organisation.

This role is right up your street as it requires you to work accurately paying great attention to detail and to use your own initiative whilst working well under pressure.   New Forest District Council recognises the challenging role of running elections, and all the additional responsibilities that come with it. We are introducing this new role to ensure that we continue to rise to these challenges and provide the additional support and resilience required within this important and highly valued team.

*The role is subject to hybrid working, however during the pre/post-election and canvass periods there will be a requirement to be office based, potentially on a full-time basis. During these periods you will be required to work under pressure and balance conflicting priorities for prolonged periods of time and there may be a requirement to work unsociable hours. There could also be restrictions on taking leave during these busy periods.
