MDM Data Operations Administrator - Salesforce

CDO is currently seeking a MDM Data Operations Analyst based out of our Manchester office.

The CDO is the center of gravity for Fitch’s data transformation, aiming to deliver modern, scalable and trusted data solutions that make innovating and working smarter at Fitch easy. The MDM (Master Data Management) squad is responsible for improving data quality of Fitch Master data, increase automation of master data management leveraging 3rd party data providers and eliminating legacy master data solutions.

We’ll Count on You To:

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Data review and mastering of customer data in Salesforce based on 3rd-party data sources (Factset, Dun & Bradstreet, GLEIF)
  • New record set-up, merging and de-duplication of records, against agreed SLA deadlines
  • Maintaining defined governance standards in accordance with Salesforce data governance policy
  • Work with Team Supervisor to ensure data validation for key data domains across Master Data Management
  • Identify continuous improvements to support data processes and procedures
  • Ensure data accuracy and coverage levels are adhered to
  • Support development of data definition standards in collaboration with MDM team specialists
  • What You Need to Have:

    The role requires the following experience:

  • Knowledge of third party CRM system (Salesforce) is essential Knowledge of Legal Entity and/or Security data desirable Strong Excel knowledge essential and ability to manipulate large datasets Basic knowledge of databases and how they work highly desirable Prior experience of working with a Master Data Management tool (Informatica) as a user is highly desired Salesforce administration experience highly desirable Good communication skills and stakeholder engagement Must be able communicate in fluent English

    In addition, the following skill sets are desirable for this role:

  • Experience of third party data sources such as Factset, Dun & Bradstreet, and Exchange data ICE is highly desirable
  • A self-starter who can pick up new processes quickly, accurately and work in a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, balancing multiple tasks, and prioritizing effectively
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and manipulate data, with a can-do attitude to problems
  • Strong MS Office skills, in particular Excel
