The Thunderbird story began in Canary Wharf in 2017, and what started as one man’s mission to Make Fried Chicken Great Again quickly became a fried chicken phenomenon that has swept the streets of London. Now, with 6 restaurants in the capital and even more planned across the country, we’re on the lookout for ambitious & passionate people to join our team and share our Fried Gold with the world!
We’re seeking to recruit a Crew Member to join our vibrant & fast-paced team in The O2 Arena. If successful, you’ll join us on a permanent contract, earning up to £11.45 an hour.
As a Crew Member, you will play a key role in the daily running of the restaurant, taking care of all our guests while also preparing some awesome fried chicken that's so good it's won awards. What Will You Be Doing?
- Breading, frying, plating and building some of the best fried chicken in town (and don't just take our word for it - ask our 11 Wingfest awards)
- Taking orders, serving food, and getting to know our loyal guests while also doing everything you can to turn curious first-timers into raving regulars
- Going above-and-beyond with any guest requests or feedback to make their day and deliver an outstanding experience every time
- Working alongside a passionate & enthusiastic team to prepare the restaurant for service and close it down at night
- Restocking drinks and stock, as well as prepping fresh ingredients for our cooked-to-order menu
- Living our values - Family, Trust, Authenticity, Fun and Pride - and upholding our Gold Standards in everything you do
- Adhering to all relevant food safety and health & safety legislation to maintain a fully safe & compliant restaurant
What Are We Looking For?
- Someone with at least 2 years’ experience in hospitality - particularly a QSR/Fast-Casual background
- Someone passionate about delivering a fantastic guest experience and serving some great fried chicken
- Someone who doesn't settle for just being “okay” - you’re obsessed with the detail and want to deliver Gold Standard every time
- A great communicator, that takes time to truly listen & take feedback onboard
- Someone with a strong understanding of the importance of cleanliness and keeping a restaurant safe & compliant at all times
- Someone who can work at pace without compromising our Gold Standards, and is calm & confident in a high-pressure busy environment
- A guest-focused individual who is fiercely excited about delivering an outstanding guest experience at every opportunity - either through serving incredible chicken in-store or by bagging some Fried Gold for guests ordering through our third-party delivery partners
