Cover Supervisor Bolton – September
We are working with a secondary school in Bolton, who are working exclusively with ourselves to provide a cover supervisor to work with them for the upcoming academic year. They would like all their short-term cover (up to three days absence) to be carried out by enthusiastic, lively graduates, who have a genuine interest in education. During the academic year, absence periods can be high (seasonal colds, staff courses, etc) and there is the opportunity for lots of regular work for several individuals in this school.
The school has been recently inspected and has continued its remarkable rating of good, which it has held for many years. The school strives for all pupils, which is shown in their strong investment in intervention and the help you will provide. The students you will help have a warm relationship with the staff and see the school as a safe and nurturing place. Leaders are forward thinking in terms of behaviour and are quick to respond.
Cover Supervisor work provides a great platform for graduates both with practical experience, and knowledge to create attractive, engaging personal statements and applications. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Degree educated with a good classification, ideally with a curriculum subject (2:2)
Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
Up to behaviour management & FGM training
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of
Provide a minimum of two professional references covering at least the last two years.
Provide a history from your education in Secondary School to the present day, with full employment history.
