Our client, a leading Scottish firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lawyer to join its Energy & Infrastructure (E&I) Team in Aberdeen. This role primarily focuses on the oil and gas sector, with opportunities to contribute to projects in the broader energy spectrum.

The successful candidate will advise operators on upstream operational contracts, field development agreements, and decommissioning security agreements. Key duties will include conducting M&A due diligence, collaborating on SPAs, advising on service sector contracts (drilling, seismic, offshore construction, EPCs), and providing regulatory advice.

The ideal candidate will have upwards of 4 years’ PQE ideally with previous experience working in the energy sector. The team is keen to hear from individuals who are efficient, deadline-oriented, and responsible for client service.

The successful candidate will have 1-4 years’ PQE of company law and corporate transactions with solid commercial and business awareness. You will manage a varied caseload of corporate work, involving high client and team interaction. Responsibilities include:
