An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Coproduction Coordinators to join our Business Improvement Team within Adult Services. These are new roles that have been created to support Adult Social Care’s Coproduction Strategy. 

The role holders will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of audiences (both internally and externally) to support best practice around coproduction to the benefit of service users and staff. The role holders will be able to do this in a variety of ways, such as by:

  • Providing training and guidance to teams on coproduction and people participation developments as part of your work programme.
  • Recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer ‘champions’ to help act as local ambassadors to our services.
  • Capturing learning in a clear and sharable format to inform the future design of Adult Social Care activities and be able to share learning across the wider sector.
  • Ensuring user involvement is central to people’s work.
  • Maintaining and growing our networks of people that use our services, volunteers, and partners in line with the needs of the programme.
  • This is an evolving role, and it is expected there will be elements of research and project work, to enable the development of evidenced based practice.
