Position Overview: We are currently seeking a highly skilled an experienced Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to join our esteemed team in Cheadle, Cheshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and compassionate psychiatrist to lead and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services for adults within our community. The post is available immediately until 02/011/2024 offering full time hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychiatric assessments, formulate accurate diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions. Provide consultation and support to primary care providers, community mental health teams, and other stakeholders involved in the care of adults with mental health needs. Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including specialty trainees, medical students, and other members of the healthcare team. Participate in service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and research activities to enhance the delivery of mental health care services for adults.
