Secondary Teacher - Computer Science

Location: Stickney, Lincolnshire 

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher specializing in Computer Science to join a dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science education, a commitment to student success, and the ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive computer science lessons in accordance with the curriculum standards and objectives.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel supported, challenged, and motivated to excel.

Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, resources, and technology tools to enhance student learning and understanding.

Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support student growth and development.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives that integrate computer science with other subjects.

Stay abreast of current trends, developments, and best practices in computer science education through professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.

Teaching certification or licensure in Computer Science or Secondary Education (if applicable).

Previous experience teaching computer science at the secondary level is preferred but not required.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
