COMMIS CHEF - PERMANENT POSITION AT THE NEC - ANNUALISED 2080 HOUR ROLE WORKING PREDOMINANTLY WITHIN OUR STREAT KITCHEN BRAND AND IN OTHER KITCHENS ON THE NEC SITE
£23,976 PER ANNUM PLUS BENEFITS PACKAGE
Minimum NVQ 1 and 2 Chef qualification
Minimum 1 year experience in a full kitchen operation
Assist the delivery of a full menu within multiple areas to required specification within allocated time and budget.
Prep and prepare food for service following instructions of lead chef
Ensure food is moved between kitchens during operational periods thus reducing stock holding areas when not open
To ensure you, and those others working within your areas of responsibility do so in accordance with current, applicable health & safety / fire safety legislation and group health & safety policies, procedures and arrangements.
To implement those group health & safety / fire safety policies, procedures and arrangements as applicable to your work activities and working environment
Ensure Food Safety requirements are met by you, in accordance with our food safety policy and procedures liaising with our Food and Safety Support Department where necessary.
Ensure catering system are utilised effectively this includes responsibility that all data in the systems is entered correctly and incorrect data is reported to the Business Systems Team.
