Jensten Insurance Brokers are pleased to be recruiting a motivated and driven Commercial Manager.
This is a hybrid role working as a Commercial Account Executive and managing a team of 3 experienced Commercial Account Handlers.
While we are pleased to be able to offer the successful candidate a permanent contract, the management element of the role will be fixed term, covering maternity leave. As a growing Connected Broker of Scale, this is an exciting time to join us and we are in a great position to be able to add to our team.
The role will suit someone looking to utilise their Commercial Insurance sales experience in a role which provides autonomy and allows you to grow. You will need to have worked in a team leader/management role previously or be able to demonstrate the abilities and readiness to do so.
This role will be offered on a hybrid basis based from our or High Wycombe office.
Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:
- Working within the Commercial team with the aim of growing our Commercial book
- Leading a team of 3 Commercial Account Handlers
- Delivering great customer service providing adequate insurance cover
- Building and maintaining relationships with Commercial Clients
- Visiting Clients and providing a high level of customer service
- Hitting and exceeding targets
- Ensuring that all work for you and the team is FCA compliant
About you
As a Commercial Manager, you’ll be a strong communicator, as well as having a natural sales flair. You will also have a Commercial Insurance background. You will need to be ambitious, self sufficient and enjoy using your initiative.
You’ll also be or have:
- Great customer service and communication skills, and resilience
- Leadership and development skills
- Worked in a similar role previously
