UK Commercial Finance Lead

We are thrilled to be working with this exciting, growing consumer goods business! We are looking for a qualified accountant who has experience of working in the consumer or FMCG sectors.
You will be leading the UK commercial finance team that manages the profit and loss of the UK commercial BU to deliver Budget Revenue and contribution, by business partnering the UK commercial leadership:
Leading and supporting the Commercial Finance Team, acting as finance business partners to the Sales Director and his senior leadership team, to provide accounting advice and financial analysis.
Lead UK monthly and quarterly forecast.
Influence and advise on all promotional and investment decisions, ensure all are based on firm ROI assumptions.
Be a key member of the S&OP process ensuring joined up and co-ordinated approach to the forecast between UK commercial team, supply chain and FP&A.
First point of contact for any commercial finance queries from the Board of Directors and responsible for reporting commercial KPIs and analysing commercial performance, drawing on internal and external information to deliver insight to senior management.
Responsible for supporting, guiding and challenging the senior sales team and creating and leading the annual budget process for UK to deliver robust plans.
Key point of contact between Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Planning
Evaluation of new business opportunities such as new contracts, distribution agreements, profit share models and licensing agreements.
Candidate Profile
A qualified accountant of at least 10 years PQE with experience of consumer or FMCG sectors essential.
A driven, commercially astute individual, who has the ability to prioritise and manage workstreams and influence key stakeholders in the business.
Capable of driving change and constantly challenge the status quo.
Able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
