Commercial Contracts Manager – Edinburgh/Hybrid

We are delighted to be instructed, as a sole agency, on this unique in-house position with our client, a successful organisation specialising in infrastructure across the public and private sectors. The organisation is currently recruiting an Associate Director to head its Corporate Services Team in Edinburgh. As Head of Legal, you will lead on all corporate legal matters including management of legal risk and leading on the legal aspects of complex workstream projects.

Key tasks will include:

Providing legal support on procurement matters, projects and related commercial structures.

Providing strategic legal support, expert guidance and negotiation on commercial contracts and partnerships.

Support the legal and commercial structuring of both current and alternative ways to delivering infrastructure projects in Scotland.

Be responsible for legal risk management.

Providing guidance on the legal aspects of PPP contracts.

Providing strategic legal support to both capital and revenue funded projects in the design, construction and operational phases.

The team is keen to hear from candidates at the 5 years’ PQE level and above with a strong background in corporate law. Complex procurement experience including risk transfer is desirable. The team operate a Hybrid working model with a requirement of only one day in the office per week.
