About the role
We are recruiting a new Collections and Exhibitions Technician role at (4 days a week). The role holder sits in the Museum Services team, which is responsible for delivering high quality topical experiences for staff, students and external audiences using UCL’s rich cultural resources and assets. They will support the delivery of exhibitions across LCCOS, including both museum and library spaces as well as providing technical support to collections. The post holder works with a range of stakeholders including curatorial, conservation, collections management, exhibitions, engagement, library and special collections to identify, investigate and deliver logistics and technical aspects of temporary exhibition/display (de)installations. They provide technical assistance with collections management tasks as well as preparation of outward loans from the collection alongside supporting the exhibitions team. The post holder reports directly to the Collections Registrar, with a dotted-line responsibility to the Exhibitions Manager.
Special Working Conditions manual handling is required to carry out this role. Training will be provided.

This is an on-campus role. It is not suitable for regular remote working.
